Home Torn by Tijan
She'd left five years ago because her sister took away someone she loved. It had always been like that. Her sisters were adored while she was ignored. Now she's back, but she's different. She had changed and now sought healing in a cold and torn home.
Rosie Thinks: 'Home Torn' is, without a doubt, one of my most favourite stories on fictionpress and one of the very few that I've read twice. It is the perfect mix of romance and angst that will have you tearing up multiple times during the story. Even though it is a romance story, it is so much more than that. It deals with family problems, emotional trauma and the healing of it all.

Tijan's writing style is, as per usual, superb. You feel every emotion Dani feels as if it were your own. The characters are all developed effortlessly and individually. There are some inconsistencies, but it is only an unedited draft and Tijan has acknowledged this in an author's note. But they're not very noticeable at all and don't take away from the story in the slightest bit. I, personally, thought the story was very well constructed! So if you read this story, get ready to be awake reading all night until the sun comes up and to be blown away.
