I knew it was going to be a bad day when I got robbed at gunpoint before I even had a chance to get some coffee. Thankfully there was a hot superhero conveniently waiting nearby.

Melissa Thinks: We all love a good hero. After being saved from a mugging by the local super Blue Blaze, Callie seems to be getting more attention than she was before by those in her school. Rumors of sex and pregnancy soon surface and things get a little hectic. I think we've all wondered how no one ever sees through Superman's crappy disguise. In Not Your Grandma's Justice League, Callie turns out to be smarter than most in a superhero's world and so when she runs into another student named Jackson, she can imeadiately tell that he is in fact the Blue Blaze. Now that she knows his secret, how will their relationship proceed?
One of the funniest stories I've ever read! The inner workings of Callie's mind is a strange, yet witty place to be for the reader. As a character, she seemed very authentic, as is her relationship with Jack (Blue Blaze). This seems to be a more realisticish version of popular comic books that can be a bit out there to me sometimes. It has quirky chapter titles and easy to get through chapters; you'll fly right through this story! Jack and Callie together are too cute. At the end, you'll be wanting a superhero of your own to call a boyfriend. Maybe a few wording and grammar problems here and there might catch your eye, but it's no matter: the pros outweight the cons in this case.
