Five Moderately Easy Steps to Having a Life

Posted by A Drop of Romeo at 3:32 PM
Liam mostly keeps to himself and spends his time painting, until one day a neighbour shows up with his mail. After that, it’s only a matter of time until Liam finally gets the hang of actually having a life.

Helen Thinks: Liam, our wonderful main character, is socially awkward and prefers to be alone in silence with his art work but he finds this ideal changing when his neighbour, Graham, drops by with his mail. Following five simple steps; six if you count the bonus one; Liam finds himself coming out of his shell and having a life.

“Five Moderately Easy Steps to Having a Life” by write-this-down is a story with a unique layout – six mini little moments headed with each step that are all combined into one large one shot. Thanks to this individual layout, write-this-down has created a story that naturally progresses and allows the reader to witness Liam’s transformation from socially awkward to social bee.

The two characters are realistic in moments where writers can tend to over exaggerate qualities such as those of inebriation and this allows the reader to feel towards the pair of them. With their own individual quirks and moments that will have you reacting along, write-this-down has managed to create extremely strong characters.

Seriously, I only have one step for you to have a life and that’s to read this amazing one shot.
