Marta Thinks: Like most of wild abyss' pieces, this isn't an easy read. It's not the sort of piece that you can read in a go, admire and then forget about a minute later. It leaves an odd sort of feeling in you - you feel a little numb, after having read something so strange. I think it's because of the emotional distance that is imposed. wild abyss describes a gritty situation using all sorts of imagery and sensory details, yet refrains from adding a human touch to it. There's no warmth and no comfort, and that makes it an extremely unique one shot. It's certainly a piece that deserves to be recognized and appreciated.
